Ade orang lagi lagi lagi tak benasib baik dari kita.syukurlah dgn ape yg kita ada.Sekurang kurang nye kita lahir normal.tak ade chromosome abnormality.tak ade trisomy 21.Alhamdulillah.Boleh fikir dan beza baik buruk.mental iq >110.Alhamdulillah.Balik kelas hujan, kite ade duet boleh naek teksi :D

Semalam round dengan Dr Zuhdi of Mafraq :D 1st time tgok dr buat echocardiogram dan dengar murmur pesakit PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) dalam bhse arabnye "iftah al-qalb"kot? .terdengar dr ckp dgn ayah die.bahase melayu jantung be lubang ke??.

Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is a heart problem that occurs soon after birth in some babies. In PDA, abnormal blood flow occurs between two of the major arteries connected to the heart.
Before birth, the two major arteries—the aorta and the pulmonary (PULL-mun-ary) artery—are connected by a blood vessel called the ductus arteriosus. This vessel is an essential part of fetal blood circulation.
Within minutes or up to a few days after birth, the vessel is supposed to close as part of the normal changes occurring in the baby's circulation.
In some babies, however, the ductus arteriosus remains open (patent). This opening allows oxygen-rich blood from the aorta to mix with oxygen-poor blood from the pulmonary artery. This can put strain on the heart and increase blood pressure in the lung arteries.

oh aku teringat ada jumpa kakak 23yo masa round int med, dia ada PDA jugak tp salah doktor time lahir tak check betol2 kot so tak ada intervention. smp dia dah bersalin tiba2 ada mcm2 komplikasi lah. boleh dengar cont. systolic murmur gila kuat ok. Ni Dr.Iman kat Basma yg ckp samada salah doktor masa dia lahir atau salah family dia sebab tak seek medical help.
kau dengar murmur kat budak tu tak ??
p.s. iftah al qalb ialah CABG - open heart surgery. kalau tak silap.
